TWP Inc. carries PTFE coated wire mesh in a variety of sizes and weaves. When stainless steel mesh products have a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coating, it means the material is finished with a thin non-stick fluoropolymer layer. The finished product is hydrophobic, autoclavable, chemically inert, extremely durable, and will hold up under very high operating temperatures. PTFE coated mesh is also exceptionally resistant to chemicals, corrosion, and abrasion, and it has a low coefficient of friction.
Designed for flexibility, this material bends easily by hand and can be cut cleanly with scissors, allowing for quick customization in the field or lab. Commonly used in coalescing filters, the mesh allows air and fuel to pass through while repelling water, which beads on the PTFE-coated surface. This is ideal for moisture-sensitive systems.

Stainless Steel PTFE Wire Mesh
If you’re interested in the stainless steel PTFE wire mesh from TWP Inc. and would like to test or inspect the product, we can provide small (1 inch by 1 inch) samples. We offer coated mesh discs, squares, rectangles, and full rolls, as well as custom laser-cut pieces. Please keep in mind that minimum order quantities will apply for PTFE mesh. Also, while the green coating will be mostly uniform, we can’t guarantee it covers 100 percent of the mesh surface.
