Black Steel when framed properly provide an excellent light security window and door screen (resists cans, bottles, rocks, BB's,and casual entry). The stainless.023" is one of the mesh specifications approved by (Department of Housing and Urban Development). These meshes cut with very sturdy hand or machine shears.  Window screens are NOT intended as a safety device and they will NOT prevent falls.
